Who Are The Odds On Favorite To Win The Premier League?

As we get deeper into the Premier League season, we are slowly starting to see the table shape up to what it will be as the season ends. The top end of the table has been dominated by the same teams for a few years now, with Man City being the constant of the last 8 years.

Last year’s title race saw Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool all in the race for a large portion of the season. This will most likely be the same as this year’s title, which may be a shock for some people. We have seen Arsenal and City play each other and Arsenal and Liverpool do the same, these were both 2-2 draws and do a good job of showing how close these teams are.

Liverpool

Starting with Liverpool is our best option here and they are the team who everyone counted out as we went into this season. With new manager, Arne Slot, coming in to replace Premier Legend, Jurgen Klopp, he had some tough shoes to fill.

However, Slot has done a great job of replacing Klopp and in some ways has actually improved Liverpool – which some people didn’t believe would be possible. Since coming to England, Slot has made Liverpool the best defensive team in the league and has helped Liverpool become one of the favorites to win the league.

And the people who do enjoy placing a football bet to try and make some money on the side, see Liverpool as they are an underrated choice, despite making no signings.

He has revolutionized some of the Liverpool players and has been excellent in keeping Liverpool as good as they were with Klopp.

Arsenal

Coming into this season, we saw the strength of the Arsenal squad reach new heights as they made a few good signings and some of their players were returning from serious injuries. People were starting to predict the premier league and predict Arsenal as the winners.

We are ten games into the season and Arsenal have already played 3 of the top six and are sitting on the same points as this time last year. Their main concern so far is the red cards and, again, the injuries. They have been weirdly showing a lack of discipline in the league and this has resulted in them already receiving three red cards.

Plus with their injuries and them dropping points, some fans may start to get slightly worried. However, the season is still fresh and they will be favorites for most of the season.

Manchester City

Manchester City had a transfer window that consisted of signing one player in February and an old legend on a free. A lot of their fans wanted them to sign more players but Pep and Txiki Begiristain stated they were happy with their squad.

As the season started, a lot of people had City as favourites but it felt like the tide was turning and Arsenal would finally overcome City. Ten games later and City have failed to lose a game and have been incredibly strong, as usual.

The city has looked great, but there are a few concerns that they need to keep on top of. The main one is their defensive structure and their lack of clean sheets. Man City vs Liverpool and Arsenal is very much attack vs defense. City have the best attack in the league and are outscoring opponents, but Liverpool and Arsenal are defensively a lot better.

Who Will Win It?

Listen, we are not oracles who are absolutely going to get this right, but, we think that this title race will be a good one and one that will go right to the wire. We also think that someone will end Manchester City’s reign of terror and we think that team will be Liverpool.
